Mercedes Benz Service A in Fremont
Mercedes Benz Service A is a combination of service and inspections. It can be performed by any competent Mercedes mechanic, though in our case, your car will be worked on by a Master Certified Technician – something even dealerships cannot promise with 100% certainty.
When we perform Service A in our Fremont shop, we follow Mercedes-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s model and year. When we replace parts during the service, we use Original Equipment Manufacturer parts. Owner of Fremont Auto Center not only is a Master Mercedes Technician – he is also one of only a handful of technicians in the United States who are certified to service and repair Mercedes SLR McLaren.
Here are the main points of what is included in Mercedes Service A:
Mercedes-Benz Motor Oil Replacement: Engines requires fresh, clean oil to operate efficiently and to prolong engine life. For your Mercedes oil replacement, we use Full Synthetic Motor Oil and OEM filters (as a matter of fact, our shop stocks only full synthetic oil, which is better suited to modern engines than conventional oil or synthetic blend)
Tire Inflation: Properly inflated tires make a big difference, and not just for the ride comfort and noise levels, but also for tire wear, and fuel consumption. We measure tire pressure, and adjust as needed. We also adjust the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) if needed.
Brake Inspection: We not only check the brake pads and rotors – we also inspect the brake lines, the pistons, and we check every major component of your vehicle’s brake system for signs of wear or leaks.
Final Step: When Service A is completed, we reset the Mercedes Maintenance System computer to start a new countdown – a countdown to Mercedes Service B.
At Fremont Auto Center we are Mercedes specialists who provide Mercedes service and quality equal, and often exceeding, that of the dealers, but without the dealer price tag.
All labor and parts carry a 36 months / 36,000 miles nationwide warranty – exceeding warranty offered by the local Mercedes dealers.
So when your Mercedes signals it’s time for Service A, give us a call to schedule an appointment.
