Fremont Auto Center performed an extensive 120K mile service on my Acura RSX Type-S. I had let the car mostly sit for the last 5 years or so and it needed a lot of maintenance. All oil/fluids needed changing, brake fluid, a head gasket change and more. I initially handed the car off to Sal who is always attentive and listened to my concerns (there was a mild vibration on start before the servicing) then of course I had to wait a few days for the work to be completed. No problem though because it's no longer my main daily driver, hence why it had been sitting around a lot. Because of the extensive amount of work something may have been missed: there was a small oil leak once work was finished which we caught pretty soon after. the car was returned again for a checkup and it turned out that it was just a slightly loose clamp on a line. Not a big deal and it wasn't a huge leak. I was not charged for the return service/checkup. I always appreciate this shop for their honesty and thoroughness of service. Also prices are very decent especially these days. I can't recommend Fremont Auto Center enough! Great service as always and I will be back again!

Great service. Martin explained the repair process clearly and carefully and provided me with updates about the progress of the repair. I actually paid less than the estimate, which I don't think has every happened before. I traveled about 20 miles and paid extra for the tow, given that I had an electric vehicle to repair and didn't want to go to the local dealership, who always over-charge. I'm glad I did and will do so again.

I must say, I was very disappointed with the service I received. The rates were incredibly expensive, and after agreeing to fix some of the issues identified in my car, I ended up paying over $3000. To make matters worse, when I received my car back after a long wait and multiple follow-ups, I noticed a strong gas smell while driving, which was not present before. When I brought this to your attention, I was informed of another issue that would cost an additional $900 to fix. I found it very frustrating, as it seemed clear that some other part had been damaged during the initial repairs. I chose not to pay the extra amount and took my car to another service center, where they identified that some parts had not been fixed correctly, causing the gas smell. They were able to quickly and efficiently resolve the issue for a fraction of the cost. I wanted to share this experience with you in the hopes that it can serve as constructive feedback for improvement. I believe there is room for improvement in the efficiency and accuracy of your services.

I give this company five stars. Martin was very professional and very helpful. Although he could not diagnose my car, He gave me some good advice and then I left. After I left he did more research and gave me a call with some additional advice. This was probably the third shop. I have taken my car to 3 other shops. They all the just said we can't help you. Don't know what to tell you! but not Martin. Martin did what he could to help me. Unfortunately I have to take my car to the dealer. But thank you Martin for your great advice and your help. I will be bringing my car to you for further needs.
